"A Reader Lives a Thousand Lives" George R.R. Martin

Wikispace? What in the world? Is that a word? What exactly is it and why are they important? They’re not organized as beautifully as Pinterest, but they’re a valuable resource that was on the verge of extinction at the end of July. So, our class had to save the Wikis! But, how to do that was a question that needed an answer.

This project was looked like it was going to be a monster. It intimidated me and I didn’t understand the language or the pace of the class as they discussed how to redo it. Thanks to my kind classmate who took pity on this tech dinosaur, I came to see that it wasn’t that difficult at all!

And, moving the links from one place to another was as difficult as copy and paste (which I can do, thank you very much). I even stayed a few minutes late in class to finish moving the links from one page to another. When I got home, I figured I could clean it up and organize the links a little better. So, how the websites were listed in the Wikispace, is how I listed them in our new class wiki.

Not such a daunting task when you’re working with 5 other bright and tech savvy women. I appreciated their help and direction… I’m not sure I would have completed it or understood any of it if it weren’t for them! Now, we are the creators of a platform where all the links actually work and it’s so much more attractive to the eye!
